70 Ph.D students in Lecco for the Research Management course

Also this year, the Lecco Campus of the Politecnico di Milano is going to host the Research Management course.
70 international PhD students from Politecnico di Milano working in different disciplines, Engineering, Architecture, Design, will spend an entire week, from May 4th to 8th, in the classrooms and dorm of the new Campus in Lecco.

Their aim is learning how to write a research proposal, i.e., formulate an innovative idea, organize it in a set of structured activities, define a consortium with the necessary skills and apply for funding through the European Programme Horizon2020. Moreover, the participants will also face the exploitation of the results coming from research and innovation, through patents or, as often and often happens, through the creation of a start-up.

The course is coordinated by Prof. Tullio Tolio (Full Professor of the Politecnico di Milano and Director of the Institute of Industrial Technologies and Automation – ITIA of the CNR) and Dr. Marcello Urgo (Assistant Professor in Manufacturing at the Politecnico di Milano) and will bring to Lecco national and international professors and experts.
