14th april 2014 was signed the agreement among INAIL and Regione Lombardia to formalize the creation of “Polo integrato della Ricerca” in Lecco. The “Polo integrato della Ricerca” is an Hub for the creation of value chains to allow the recovery of injuried people at work through new technologies, assistive methodologies and rehabilitation procedures.

INAIL – Project TuTa – A new modular and multiparametric wearable system for the monitoring and evaluation of rehabilitation movement and the re-integration of people at work

The project aim at realizing a new modular and multiparametric wearable system for the monitoring and evaluation of rehabilitation movement and the re-integration of people at work. The system allow the real-time evaluation and a post session evaluation of the rehabilitation workout. The system also allow the evaluation of the technological assistive solutions implemented to permit the re-integration of people at work. The system is composed by sensors integrated in clothes to ensure a non-intrusive measurement of parameters and the modularity of the system.

Project Rientr@ aims at allow people on wheelchair to return to their everyday activities after and injury. With applications of RV and AR will be simulate different kind of end user’s movement, monitoring, at the same time relevant parameters. The system will allow the rapresentation of everyday situations with their critical points for a person on wheelchair and could be use to let people train their new skill to complete everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning.

Prosthesis and wearable devices can be used to allow social and work re-integration of people with amputation. The project aim at implementing prosthesis functionalities to reduce their volume, ameliorate wearability and psychological acceptance, and at the end, promote a better use of the prosthesis.
