EcoSmartLand – Lab Innovation
The project “Towards and beyond Expo 2015: EcoSmartLand, Lecco Eco Smart City”, is promoted by the Lecco Chamber of Commerce with its Special Agency Lariodesk. It is “a Lecco district laboratory for the co-creation of an integrated system for eco-smart tourist and cultural packages. EcoSmartLand is a participative innovation project that involves territorial institutions, excellent bodies in the field of innovation and research and local partners as co-creators”.
Aim: a medium and long term strategy that gathers the operators of the district to work together to enhance the Lecco district attraction in a SMART land, SMART city e SMART community paradigm.
The Lab Innovation, part of this project, is coordinated by Univerlecco. It focuses on themes, players and promotion of actions connected to university-level education and research. Int–ARS@Lecco, to attract international talents to Lecco, is among the key projects of the Lab.
“EcoSmartLand” wont the National prize “Smart City-Smart Communities” at Smau2014. The prize was delivered by Pierantonio Macola, Smau AD. He highlighted that the project “represents a tremendous example of a well played role at the service of enterprises and the district”.
